Michelle Winn has played horn for over 25 years with groups such as Texas All State Orchestra, Georgetown High School Honor Band , the Starlight Orchestra, S.M.A.R.T Orchestra, Hill Country Band, and various small ensembles in the area. She received her BS in education at The University of Texas in Austin and received an MEd in school counseling at Southwest Texas State University. She has been teaching horn for over ten years through private lessons and horn sectionals in AISD, HCISD, and San Antonio ISD, with the core belief  that making positive connections with students and families are the key to growth and commitment. In addition, she believes that music is the common thread that connects people regardless of background, culture, or differences. Using this knowledge, Ms Winn is committed to helping  students build confidence, improve musically, and discover that music is a language in which we are all connected.
