Become a Band Booster Member!
The Hays Band Boosters organization is dedicated to support the students, directors, and the mission of the band programs as they strive towards the highest level of curricular and artistic goals in music education and performance. Booster meetings will be held at 6:30 PM on the first Tuesday of each month from September-May (except January). Meetings are generally held in the HHS Music Building - Main Band Hall, and are approximately one hour, except the September meeting, which runs closer to two hours. We are all band/guard parents/guardians, so everyone is invited and encouraged to attend meetings- no membership is required to attend meetings and give input, suggestions, ideas, or to volunteer. Attending Booster meetings is the best way to stay informed and contribute to band activities. Membership is required to be allowed to vote and for your child to be eligible for a Band Booster Scholarship their senior year. There is no requirement placed upon members to volunteer, but is definitely welcomed.
By becoming an official Booster, you are supporting the students directly. Your votes in general meetings allow you to guide our development and fundraising efforts. Our Mission is worthwhile: “The Hays Band Boosters Organization is dedicated to support the students, directors and the mission of the band program as they strive towards the highest level of curricular and artistic goals in music education and performance.”
Membership dues fund our senior scholarships. Membership is required every year your student is a member of the Hays Band & Guard programs in order for them to be eligible for a scholarship Please make sure you purchase a membership each year so your child will be eligible. Scholarship amounts are typically between $500-$1,000 and are dependent on how many memberships are purchased and how many students apply. Booster membership is not the only criteria.
Be sure to visit the Booster Store to view available Hawk Spirit Gear, purchase Meal Plans, Donate to the Scholarship or Hospitality Funds and More.

SUPPORT THE HAYS BAND
Funding supports student's access to marching and music technicians, performance equipment (such as props and costumes) and capital assets. You can make a difference by pledging your financial support. Your contribution is considered a donation and is 100% tax deductible. Your donation is an investment in our children’s future and the future of our community.
While the students and directors provide the talent, there is a great deal of volunteer time and financial resources needed as well, to accommodate our academic year. The Jack C. Hays High School Band Boosters serves as a non-profit 501(c)3 entity charged with providing additional revenue to develop a successful fine arts education for all students in the band/guard program. Your tax deductible donation will allow for this program to continue to thrive, grow and prosper now and for years to come.
Funding through the Band Boosters supports students' access to marching and color guard technicians, clinicians and masterclasses. Your support also allows for upkeep of uniforms and equipment, and provides maintenance of electronic devices used throughout the year.
Even after many great successes, including the 2020 State Marching Competition, the students continue to set goals, focus, and strive toward excellence. Our Hays band/guard students are prepared to represent not only Jack C. Hays High School and Hays CISD, but also the local communities and will continue Soaring to Success. Every contribution makes a difference and your support enables our students to further enrich their musical and performance experiences on the field and in the classroom.
Both corporations and individuals are encouraged to sponsor the Hawk Band!
Each level of giving comes with an exciting package of perks and privileges with Benefits granted for one academic year. By becoming a sponsor, you will have an amazing opportunity to advertise your business with one of the largest booster organizations in Hays CISD!
