Logan Herring is a freelance trombone performer and educator throughout the South and Midwest United States, appearing in orchestral, jazz, and commercial settings. He studied at McMurry University under Dr. Jeff Cottrell and at Kansas State University under Dr. Dan Hinman, where he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in trombone. He currently serves as Associate Principal Trombone of the Salina Symphony Orchestra and has performed with ensembles including the Topeka Symphony, Ballet Kansas, Manhattan Symphony Orchestra, and Lawrence Community Orchestra. He has also appeared with the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp Festival Band and Orchestra, including a concert tour of Europe.

In addition to his performing career, he is dedicated to music education and has taught private lessons and presented masterclasses for students from beginner through collegiate levels.
