PASS-OFF OBJECTIVES - "The Lighthouse"
All Hays Band members will have a series of musical objectives in which they will need to pass off this first 9 weeks. These objectives are designed to help ensure that all students are learning the marching show music and contributing to musical excellence at the highest level. Students will be expected to pass off ALL of their show music within these objectives. Objectives along with daily attendance, football games and contests will serve as the largest grading factors for our students this fall. There are 26 objectives in total split between the 4 show movements. Copies of the student objective sheets can be found below. Percussion members will have objectives separate than those of the Woodwind and Brass members.
Students who are unable to complete objectives in-person, with a director, will also have the opportunity to complete their objectives at home by recording and uploading objective pass-offs through the link below. Please note that the online objective pass-offs are specific to brass and woodwind players only. Students who opt to complete pass-off objectives in person will need to do so with their respective band director:
