The Hays High School Band Leadership Team will be attending a leadership workshop hosted at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Wednesday, July 24th - Friday, July 26th. All events have been organized by Mr. Collins and members of the UTSA Music Faculty to ensure that this leadership training is catered specifically to the needs and functions of our band program here at Hays High School. This leadership camp comes at no charge to the members of the BLT. Tentative schedule below:

9:30am - Quick stop at- Buc-ees
10:30am - Arrive at UTSA
10:30-11:00am - Room Check-In (Alvarez Hall)
11:00am-12:00pm - Lunch at Roadrunner Cafe
12:30-3:00pm - Intro to Leadership (Ron Ellis - Director of Bands)
3:00-3:30pm - Break (snacks available for sale)
3:30-6:00pm - Music Rehearsal (Ron Ellis - Director of Bands)
6:00-7:00pm - Dinner at Roadrunner Cafe
7:00-7:30pm - At the dorm - afternoon prep

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Please see the suggested packing list below. Students will be housed in the dormitories on the UTSA Campus. The dorms at UTSA are set-up to where two students will be "suite-mates". This simply means that there are two separate sleeping spaces connected by a bathroom. In other words, each student has their own room and sleeping space but will share a restroom facility with one other student. BLT students are to sign-up for a roommate via sign-up genius. This sign-up will be sent out shortly via the BLT remind. Those who do not sign-up for a roommate will be assigned one by the directors.
